The Language Studies Department in collaboration with the ICG Club invite you to join us for a Poetry & Nature Walk. Our event will occur off-site at Palo Corona Regional Park, where the California Wildlife Day event will be occurring (see link: https://www.carmelriverwatershed.org/california-wildlife-day.html)
You are invited to come prior to the poetry walk and enjoy the festivities for California Wildlife Day at any time from 10am-3pm. The location is Palo Corona Regional Park at 4860 Carmel Valley Road, in Carmel.
We will rendez-vous for our monthly International Poetry Gathering at 3:15pm, near the flagpole at Palo Corona Regional Park and commence the walk by 3:30pm.
Professor Marie Butcher will guide us on a gentle walk and facilitate our poetry reading. You are welcome to bring a poem to share in any language during our nature walk!
Please RSVP to Prof. Marie Butcher (mbutcher@miis.edu), so we know to look for you. Plan for travel and parking time.
For rides, please contact Prof. Rana Issa (rissa@miis.edu) or Hannah Ritchey (hritchey@miis.edu)
